Tif & Gif Creative LLC, Friday Harbor, San Juan Island are pleased to announce their five year anniversary. Tif & Gif continue to work with a diverse group of clients in the islands and around the globe, offering creative design solutions to help build and grow small and large business and organizations. Melonie Walter and Chris Minney take time to give to their community and offer volunteer time to several non-profits and to serve on local boards. They look forward to the next five years.

Melonie Walter has been voted to serve as the vice president of the Board of Directors for the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce. "I'm happy to be serving as vice president of the board. I'm very excited with all of the work that executive director Debbie Pigman is doing and her plans for the upcoming year. The Chamber is a wonderful organization that has really moved forward leaps and bounds since I first moved to the Island 10 years ago and I'm looking forward to its growth in the future."
TIF & GIF CELEBRATES ONE YEAR OF CREATIVITY AND GROWTH
Tif & Gif Creative LLC, 470 Spring Street, Friday Harbor, is celebrating its first year of operation by announcing it has expanded its services. In addition to web and print graphic design, search engine optimization and e-commerce solutions, they have added web hosting, networking, illustration, and copywriting. "What we're trying to do is allow our clients an opportunity to really grow their businesses." said Walter. "We want to provide more creative and customized solutions for businesses and non profits, and adding these services really helps us do that."
Melonie Walter and Chris Minney, owners, also purchased Friday Harbor Blueprint in January 2004, and will continue to offer quality blueprint reproduction and large format black and white copies. "It just seemed like a great move for us," Walter said, "This was a great opportunity to increase revenue and actual space." Friday Harbor Blueprint was located across the hall from the design firm.
Award for Outstanding Achievement
The San Juan Island Visitors Bureau's "Leave Only Footprints" visitor education brochure (designed by Tif & Gif Creative LLC) won the award for "Outstanding Achievement" in the Communications & Public Relations category at the Western Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus" Annual Meeting's 'Idea Faire' held Oct. 16-19 in Vancouver, BC.
The WACVB is an educational association for convention and visitors bureaus from throughout the western U.S. and Canada. Over 120 attendees from over 60 convention and visitors bureaus from 12 states and 2 Canadian provinces attended the recent conference.
